We have adopted age-appropriate programs that have been proven and tested to work well on children. We would not want to take away the joy of childhood from your children so we make sure that their daily activities will not overwhelm them, but instead allow them to learn and enjoy at a suitable pace.

Infants

Since infants cannot adapt to timed activities at their age, it is the parents who provide to us their preferred schedules when it comes to meals, naps, diaper change, and play time. We also document infants’ bodily functions and irregular activities daily to parents so they can still monitor their babies even when they are away.

Toddler
Our Toddler classroom provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 18-36 months. We focus on fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning through developmentally appropriate activities and consistent, caring interactions. The key features of our toddler program include routine and care, life skills development, language exploration, early math and science introduction (STEM), building trusting bonds, and play-based learning.

Preschool
Our Preschool program cultivates the adventurous spirits and growing minds of our 3-year-olds. This program is a great transitional period for children who are moving from toddler to pre-K. We implement a comprehensive curriculum addressing all five domains of learning, fostering real-world understanding through engaging activities. We emphasize routines and structure to support development and prepare children for future academic success.

Pre-K
Our Pre-K program empowers children to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. We focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, fostering independence, and building the motivation to achieve goals. Through engaging activities and a structured learning environment, we prepare children for lifelong success.

School-Age
Our School-Age program offers a safe and engaging space for school-aged children during seasonal breaks and summers. We provide structured activities, exciting field trips, and opportunities to build friendships. Our program ensures kids stay busy, happy, and connected while away from school. We prioritize both fun and routine!

Drop-In Care
Our Drop-In Care program offers families flexible childcare solutions for unexpected moments or when a consistent schedule isn’t possible. Drop-in care allows children to participate in our enriching programs on a temporary, as-needed basis. Our program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your child, offering peace of mind when you need it most.

Important Details:

  • Eligibility: To utilize our drop-in care services, families must complete all required enrollment paperwork prior to their child’s first drop-in day.
  • Advance Notice: Due to limited availability, parents must provide prior notice to the center regarding their child’s intended drop-in attendance for a specific day.
  • Daily Fees: Daily drop-in fees are determined based on the child’s age and the specific program they will participate in.

Our Curriculum

CREATIVE BEGINNINGS LEARNING CENTER uses a research-based, state-aligned curriculum known as Creative Curriculum.

The Creative Curriculum is a widely recognized and comprehensive early childhood curriculum that focuses on fostering development and learning in children from infancy through pre-K.

Creative Curriculum emphasizes hands-on, project-based investigations and play as the primary means of learning. It includes all areas of development, including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, literacy, mathematics, science, and the arts. It provides teachers with tools and resources to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. It emphasizes the importance of creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Creative Curriculum promotes holistic development by nurturing all aspects of a child’s growth, ensuring well-rounded development. It encourages active learning by focusing on exploration, discovery, and play, which foster a love for learning. The Creative Curriculum provides a framework for early childhood educators to create enriching learning experiences that empower children to reach their full potential.

Meals & Snacks

We strive to serve nutritious meals and snacks to the children. As part of our program, we participate in the Child and Adult Food Program and provide breakfast, lunch and snack each day.
